Nut Milk Bag

This nut milk bag, locally made in Canada by Öko Creations, is crafted from hemp muslin and organic cotton.

Its clever design stands out with external seams and a rounded shape, making it easy to clean. The organic cotton drawstring provides a convenient closure and can also be used for straining.

Hand or machine washable, it is recommended to rinse it with clear water before each use. Ideal for filtering plant-based milks (nuts, grains, seeds).

Instructions for Use

Plant-based Milk Preparation

• Nut soaking: Soak nuts, such as almonds or hazelnuts, in water for several hours or overnight. This step softens them and facilitates milk extraction.
• Blending: Blend the soaked nuts with water in a blender until a creamy mixture is obtained.
• Straining: Pour the mixture into a cotton bag, which acts as a filter, holding back the pulp while letting the milk flow through.
• Extraction: Gently press the bag to extract as much milk as possible. The remaining pulp can be reused in recipes or composted.
